Outlier is worth it if player props are your game and you want to research a prop and place the bet from the same app: its Prop Finder sorts hundreds of props by hit rate, and its homepage says you can "Place bets on FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, or Caesars, in just two clicks." GhostLeg is a market desk for bettors who want to read prices first: seven sportsbooks, Kalshi and Polymarket on one screen for every game, the Kalshi ladder beside NFL main-line props, Monte Carlo simulations, THE VERDICT only when the numbers earn one, and a public graded record. Outlier Premium and GhostLeg Pro both cost $19.99 a month. They do different jobs.

Which one should you choose?

Pricing in plain terms

Outlier's homepage prices three tiers, and the App Store and Google Play print the same figures ("prices vary by region"):

Outlier tier Monthly Annual Annual, per month
Premium $19.99 $199.99 about $16.67
Premium+ (Early Bird rate) $29.99 $299.99 about $25.00
Pro + React Live $79.99 $359.99 about $30.00

The tier you need depends on the tool. Premium covers the props research, injury reports, real-time alerts, odds comparison and line movement tracking. EV+ indicators need Premium+, at the $29.99 Early Bird rate. The arbitrage feed, the Positive EV Power Feed and middles need Pro: $79.99 monthly, or $359.99 a year, about $30 a month annualised.

Outlier's pages say "Get started with a 7 day free trial." Its terms say a trial needs a payment method on file, and the subscription starts automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends. On refunds, the terms are direct: "there are no refunds for cancellation. Payments are nonrefundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used billing periods." You keep access to the end of the billing cycle.

GhostLeg Pro is $19.99 a month, billed monthly. The first few games on each board are free, Line Shopping is ungated, and you can start a free trial for the rest.

What each tool is actually for

Outlier is a player props research and bet-placement app. This is Outlier at outlier.bet, a product of Colorcast, Inc., not Outlier AI (tryoutlier.com), which is a different company; its page title reads "Outlier: Player Prop & Betting Tools". Prop Finder lists hundreds of props with hit rates across six windows, Opposition Rank and player splits (on the road, after a loss, against a power-ranked defense, without a key teammate). Around it sit injury reports, real-time alerts you set with your own filters, and a trending feed of popular bets and parlays. Odds comparison sits beside the bet you are researching, and its saved-bets list pushes your selections to a sportsbook slip. It also works with the DFS apps PrizePicks and Underdog, though in its own words, "At this time, we cannot fill the betslip for you on PrizePicks and Underdog."

GhostLeg is a market desk. The Signal Board prices seven sportsbooks (six for UFC) beside Kalshi and Polymarket for every game, runs Monte Carlo simulations on each, and shows THE VERDICT only when the numbers earn one. Player Props covers NBA and NFL; NBA rows carry book lines and best prices, and NFL rows add the form strip and the Kalshi ladder. Around that sit Polymarket Whales, Streaks / Trends, Team / Player Statistics and Paper Trading. GhostLeg does not sell bets to follow, place bets or link out to sportsbooks.

For context: in the X replies we reviewed under OddsJam affiliate posts, Outlier was the one tool users named as the alternative. Users on X put it as "Just use outlier it's better." It is in our roundup of OddsJam alternatives.

When Outlier is the better buy

Plainly, for a props bettor who places bets, Outlier does several things GhostLeg does not:

If those are the features you use every day, Outlier Premium at $19.99 is the closer fit.

Where GhostLeg is better

A real NFL props example from GhostLeg's data

C.J. Stroud passing yards, Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars, Sunday, October 18, in London. All numbers as of October 16, 2026; the game has not been played.

Book Line Over Under
FanDuel 256.5 -114 -114
DraftKings 256.5 -111 -113
Pinnacle 256.5 -111 -119
BetMGM 253.5 -115 -115
Bovada 256.5 -115 -115
BetOnline 256.5 -111 -116
Fanatics 255.5 -115 -115

The main line is 256.5. The best over is BetMGM at 253.5 (-115), which is a different bet: it sits three yards below the main line. The best under is DraftKings at 256.5 (-113). Pinnacle, at 256.5 (-111/-119), is the reference price.

Kalshi's probability of the over at each strike, as of October 16, 2026: 174.5 at 89%, 199.5 at 81%, 224.5 at 67%, 249.5 at 53%, 274.5 at 40%, 299.5 at 24% and 324.5 at 15%. At the 256.5 main line, the devigged book over-probability was 49.8% against Kalshi's 49.4%. That is what each venue showed, not an edge and not a recommendation; the point is that you see the books and the exchange on one row. The live row is on NFL Player Props.

The same game on the moneyline, snapshot October 16, 2026 at 18:04 UTC: the Texans ran from +120 (BetMGM, FanDuel) to +128 at Pinnacle, the reference price.

Outlier bet review FAQ

Is Outlier worth it?

For a props bettor who wants hit rates, splits, injury news and two-click placement on FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM or Caesars in a phone app, Premium at $19.99 a month is built for that. EV+ needs Premium+ at the $29.99 Early Bird rate, and the arbitrage feed needs Pro at $79.99. Prices as of October 16, 2026; payments are nonrefundable.

Does Outlier have a free version?

Yes. With no account, Outlier shows 3 NBA Insights and 3 Popular Bets per sportsbook, the same for the NFL, plus free calculators. Paid tiers start with a 7 day free trial that needs a payment method.

Outlier or GhostLeg for player props?

Outlier for research depth across seven prop leagues and placing the bet. GhostLeg for reading the price: the line across the books on NBA and NFL props, and on NFL main-line props, the Kalshi ladder beside it. Some bettors will use both. For the same head-to-head against an arbitrage workstation, see GhostLeg vs OddsJam.

Does Outlier show Kalshi or Polymarket prices?

Kalshi and Polymarket prices inside the product are not listed on its site as of October 16, 2026. Its homepage mentions comparing odds "across books and prediction markets" without naming a venue, and both names appear on its free Prediction Markets Converter, which "does not load live odds." GhostLeg prices Kalshi and Polymarket beside the books on every game; programmatic access is planned through the Data API, coming soon.
